In what we trust?
yesterday night I was watching a canadian TV series, which tells the story of a female boston-based doctor in early 20th century who has immigrated to a small village cause in her city was not accepted as a woman doctor. well, the story was about father of the church who had lost his vision on the eve of Christmas. He was so upset and angry, complaining God for the pain he was in. He thought he would never go to the church again. People of village prayed for him, nothing happened. All were disappointed. But finally decided to listen to God and what they had to do. they decorated Christmas tree with angels and stars, and prepared for the Christmas night at church.
A small boy in church was reading Gospel verses on Jesus's birth, then father came in the church with a wooden stick in his hand to prevent obstacles and find his way. He went on the scene to continue Gospel verses that was in his memory, then paused for a moment and said to all the audiences, "listen! It's snow falling outside!" All the people went to the windows and whatched snow that was falling for the first time after several years. The father had a smile in his face...
May all of us could perceive God's will, listen to Him and follow what He wants for us, which is the best thing that could happen for us. May we could have more patience. May all of us could trust in God. Amen!
